There are many natural springs in the Las Vegas Valley, but this one is by far my favorite. Located just outside of Boulder City, Nevada, it’s a great place to visit if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. It’s also very interesting because there are two distinct ecosystems here – the desert landscape of Southern Nevada and the lush greenery of Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. I love how they seem to balance each other out.
Gibson Springs Las Vegas Nevada is a small town in the middle of the Mojave Desert. It’s not on any map, and it’s definitely not for tourists. There are only two residents there: an old man named Frank Gibson, and his grandson, Ricky Gibson. The Gisborne family has owned this land since before the Civil War, but they’ve never done much with it. They don’t have much money to invest because their ranching business isn’t very profitable-they barely make enough to keep themselves fed.”

The spring has water temperatures in the low 50s so it’s perfect for those who want to cool down on a hot day!

Las Vegas is a city of lights, and the gambling capital of America. The flashy neon signs that line Las Vegas Boulevard draw in people from all over the world with promises of riches and excitement. What many do not realize is that there is so much more to Las Vegas than just slot machines and blackjack tables. In fact, if you head out on one of the numerous hiking trails around town, you will find yourself in some beautiful natural settings where peace reigns supreme. One such trail leads to Gibson Springs in Henderson Nevada – a hidden gem that offers visitors an opportunity for serene contemplation amidst desert plant life and lush creekside vegetation.
